Groupe Frontenac is an innovator in sustainable development practices. For example, it provides EV charging stations for employees and visitors and has a fleet of electric forklifts for internal operations. We’re also the proud owners of one of the largest solar walls in eastern Canada, generating clean energy to supply the air exchange and heating systems in our plant on Parent Boulevard. Our paper waste is 100% recycled and repulped to be returned to our operations, demonstrating our commitment to a circular economy. Our environmental commitment is also evident in our paper packaging products. They’re distinctive because they’re manufactured with green processes.
We use healthy materials, such as water-based inks and starch-based glues. Our waterproof coatings are the result of serious efforts to obtain products that are 100% compostable and green. Groupe Frontenac is proud to support the planet, and it is working to diversify its product range and limit the environmental impact of single-use products, thus encouraging sustainable production. We work with business partners who care about the environment as much as we do, and so we produce products that are both recyclable and compostable.
